The BrotherLED 8mm COB LED strip series is designed for projects that need a clean, continuous line of light in a narrow profile. Its dense chip layout and continuous phosphor surface reduce the visible light spots commonly associated with conventional LED tape.
The series covers 12 models from 252 to 840 chips per meter. Designers can select DC5V, DC12V or DC24V models, power from 10 to 16 W/m, standard white color temperatures and a broad range of decorative colors.

What Is an 8mm COB LED Strip?
COB means “chip on board.” Multiple LED chips are mounted closely on the flexible PCB and covered by a continuous light-converting layer. The result is a smoother, more uniform light line than a conventional strip with individually visible LED packages.
